Liverpoolland is a peninsula on the 2400 km long coast of East Greenland. Here, the Age Nielsen Glacier flows down from the rugged mountains of Liverpoolland to the sea. Its tongue floats on the sea water moving in the rythm of tide. Time and again, big chunks of ice break off from it and drift away into the sea. (aerial view)
